Mars Retrograde Through the Signs

It’s the time of the year where life naturally finds the end of its cycle. Animals hibernate, and plants decay back to the Earth for reseeding. I like to end my year right before Solstice, December 21, and use the time for a deeper reflection that allows me to clearly see what new idea seed I want to plant for the upcoming year. It’s a natural end point, but also a cyclical shift that fuels our next adventure.

This year feels a bit different as we’re caught in-between multiple major planetary retrogrades and stations. While we are still wrapping up the major cycle that was 2024, it’s left on a cliff-hanger of unfinished business that will continue all the way until mid-2025. These years somewhat mirror each other as well, with the Spring eclipse season reflecting back on 2023-2024.

If you’re feeling like you didn’t accomplish what you hoped for this year, or are facing roadblocks, there’s a good reason for it. Mars rules our actions, desires, and the way we intentionally move through life. Currently retrograde in Leo, we’ve been reviewing what it means to put our drive, passion, and light out into the world and how our actions mirror our true intentions. Mars will retrograde back into Cancer in January, repeating themes from the Fall of 2024 — challenging our health, our comfort in our bodies, and how we care for ourselves. Read your Mars horoscopes below to get a sense of what this review is asking of you.

My greatest gift and excitement this year (and also my personal Mars Rx story) is the launch of the Two Girls Talk Transits Astrology Program, which is our live-online astrology school. This Program is designed for you to learn nearly everything I know about birth chart readings, astrology philosophies, and predictive elements over the course of six months. Our group starts on January 19, 2025 and runs through June 2025. We keep these spaces small, around 8-10 people, to allow for a more intimate learning experience. What makes this Program different is that we also incorporate the healing and therapeutic side of astrology, showing you how to use your astrological cycles to better understand yourself and your personal growth, or soul’s promise for this lifetime.

If you’re interested in learning more or want to chat with us to see if this Program will meet your needs, fill out the form here and we’ll be in touch. You can also find more information about the program, including the rubric and breakdown, on that page.

Regular readings are still available! You can get your personalized predictive readings for three, six, or twelve months into the future – now with a fully written PDF to also track your progress. Book your readings here.

Always with love,

Maddie
