A sweet Full Moon in Libra arrives on Thursday, April 6th at 12:34am EDT. The Moon sits alone in Libra, just past the opposition to Chiron and applying to an opposition with Jupiter in Aries. This lunation is ruled by Venus, who is in Taurus, pulling away from the chaotic energy of Uranus and the North Node. With both benefic planets in helpful positions for this Full Moon, and the malefics mostly out of play, this lunation may heavily encourage joy, abundance, expansion, growth, and overall optimism about life and what living has to offer you.

The opposition to Chiron may pull some reflection – especially centered around who you are, how you have changed, and where you are still uncomfortable with yourself or maintain a wound around your self-expression. The more you’re able to pull back the distressing parts of your life, the more you will be able to see them clearly, and recognize where change is possible. There is a big element of trust – of trusting your overall direction and trajectory, and blindly allowing yourself to believe that with some hope and optimism, you can grow and expand into the self that you truly are.

With this being a Full Moon, you may be asked to shed what you have outgrown for yourself. But instead of this shedding feeling like a loss, Jupiter gives encouragement and asks you to be excited about the change. There is still a wound being poked at, yet under the reflection of the Moon, you may be able to see the path towards healing. Spend this Full Moon with the people that you love, adore, and want to learn more from. Libra is heavy on community and relationships, so take advantage of feeling supported by others during this lunation and month.

On April 7th, Venus in Taurus makes a sweet sextile to Neptune in Pisces. This is a dreamy day, good for escapism or creating art, of making something magical and not working too hard. This is not necessarily the best time for detail-oriented or logical thinking. Spend time with friends instead, or do something pleasant with yourself.

Mercury in Taurus will enter its shadow period, gearing up for a retrograde, and sextile Mars in Cancer on April 8th. Mercury will make three of these aspects to Mars, so while this is a good transit for putting words into action, there is heavy potential that these actions and ideas will be under review and revision in the future. But if you need a day for aligning your thoughts and ideas into a practical plan, look towards this day.

Venus will enter Gemini on April 11th, and make a helpful yet intense aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, and the Sun will conjunct Jupiter in Aries. This is a loud and busy day, and Venus connecting to Pluto in air signs will encourage emphasis on communication, technology, sharing ideas, thoughts, and information.

Things become more action-oriented and motivated, especially as the Sun joins Jupiter in Aries. This day will tie us back to the Full Moon – what are you learning about yourself? Where are you starting to recognize your power and authenticity, and how is leaning into personal expansion becoming easier and more powerful for you? This is also a good time for expanding the mind, doing something exciting, learning new information, and leaning into faith and spirituality as it calls to you.

Things are quieter leading up to the eclipse, and the last aspect is on April 14th as Venus in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces. This is potentially the most frustrating aspect for this lunation cycle. Venus will be wanting some sort of logical plan and step-by-step solution for a relationship dynamic or within the need of constructing something together. But Saturn may be unwilling to provide this structure, or give vague and uncertain statements.

Potential for confusion and misunderstanding is high, and it’s definitely an unhelpful time for problem solving or trying to get work done. However, the transit is sort-lived and temporary, even if it’s more of a somber point within relationships. It may clearly show who supports your growth under this Full Moon, and who isn’t in your corner anymore.

Let’s look at where this Full Moon astrology is happening for you specifically.

LIBRA & LIBRA RISING

Who you are, how you express yourself, how you share your knowledge, and how other people see and recognize you, is the focus and spotlight of this Full Moon in Libra. Much attention has been centered around others in your life – relationships and partnerships of all kinds and their needs. This lunation reminds you to divert some focus back to you, who you are, and what your values and needs are at the core. This is a good time to reflect on how you have changed in the last six months — of what use to inspire you then versus what inspires you now. Clearing away old aspects of oneself is the first step to creating room for new growth and understanding. What have you let go of regarding your own identity and pursuits? What are you learning about yourself instead? How are your relationships supporting or getting in the way of who you are lately?

Venus entering into Gemini will help sweeten and connect you to higher education, new philosophies and beliefs, as well as helping you see more clearly an overall long-term direction and path that aligns with who you are. There may start to be some ease with learning something new that excites you and expands your horizons.

SCORPIO & SCORPIO RISING

Your hidden ideas, behind the scenes projects, and the history you are working through regarding loss, trauma, and difficult experiences are highlighted under this Full Moon in Libra. While Aries season is turning up the heat in your work life, work projects and relationships, along with body health – the Full Moon really wants you to give yourself some time and space away from the activity. Take a break to reflect on your mental health — what challenges you’ve dealt with, and celebrate what you have overcame and confronted during the last six months. What have you learned about yourself through loss and conflict? Where have you started to carve out more time for your inner needs and mental health? Where does there need to be attention on the ways you might get in your own way when it comes to success and abundance?

Venus entering into Gemini will help sweeten any collaborations or group projects, or help you receive support financially and emotionally from your partnerships and close relationships. If work has been a lot with trying to manage it all on your own, seek out assistance when it’s offered. More people are in your corner willing to work and learn from you than you may know.

SAGITTARIUS & SAGITTARIUS RISING

Community, friendships, fun social outings, and connections are illuminated by this Full Moon in Libra. Majority of your energy lately has been focused on your own creative pursuits and passions, and potentially any children needs or major projects you are personally working on. This lunation encourages you to release some of that creative work into your community, and recognize how you are supported externally as well as internally. Your work dynamics are shifting, and there is a potential to find friends and fun in your everyday routines instead of just the daily grind. This Full Moon is also a great time to reflect on how your support system has changed, who you have let go of, and who you are spending more time with. How has your free and fun time changed in the last six months? What does your friend group look like now?

Venus entering Gemini will help sweeten and connect you to your one-on-one relationships and partnerships. Mars may’ve created an extended time of conflict and frustration here, and Venus is now preset to help strengthen bonds and connections again. If you need help or support, look to those close relationships and how they can provide something of value to you.

CAPRICORN & CAPRICORN RISING

Career and public roles are highlighted under this Full Moon in Libra, showing your work in the spotlight, and reflecting on your reputation and ways you directly impact your community. Majority of the focus lately has been on your home life, living environment, and relationship with your family and parents. There may’ve been changes or big expansion here. However, this Full Moon will pull the attention back to you and your work in the world, and how that has changed in the last six months. What does your career look like lately? How have your public roles changed, and what have you let go of in terms of your life path and overall direction with your work? Visibility is increased at this time, so if you are looking to release or launch something new, the spotlight will be available for you.

Venus moving into Gemini will still center focus on your work, but will help sweeten and refresh your work routines, responsibilities, and relationships with coworkers or those that you work for. During this transit, look for new ways to soften up your daily workload so that you can have more fun and creativity. This is also a good time to focus on body and mental health, and getting into new activities.

AQUARIUS & AQUARIUS RISING

Long-term plans, visions for the future, and five-year goals are what this Full Moon in Libra wants to highlight. So much attention has been centered lately around your daily life, rituals, communications, and overall little routines you keep for yourself and with your close relationships. This Full Moon pulls you back to the big-picture, to the wisdoms and philosophies that you follow, to the visions that you have for yourself in the distance future. How has the expansion in your daily life changed the overall direction for yourself? What long-term plans have you let go of, and what new ones are growing? This may be centered around a new understanding and attraction to what you want your day-to-day and home life to grow and look like, now that you have new information about what works and is enjoyable here. Honor and celebrate the new path you are envisioning.

Venus moving into Gemini will pull attention to your creative projects, passions, and the ways you have fun and enjoy your life. If the days are getting busier and more demanding, it’s important to carve a space to release pressure and reset the mind from stress. Be on the lookout for new projects and opportunities to create.

PISCES & PISCES RISING

The Full Moon in Libra shines the spotlight on your collaborations, work with other people, your partner’s money and financial security, including any other new income ventures involving inheritances or loans. Your own money and income have been under intense motivation and drive lately, perhaps increasing your day-to-day and bringing in new financial shifts. This lunation wants you to recenter on the others in your life, especially with your close one-on-one relationships and partnerships. Reflect on the balance of resources with the most important people in your life, and how secure you currently feel within these relationships. How are they helping you financially or with a project together? What do shared resources look like now, and how have they changed in the last six months? Where are you learning to practice trust and support from another, and not just by leaning completely on your own abilities?

Venus entering Gemini will help provide some sweetness and beauty to your home, living environment, and relationships with family and parents. This may be a good time for a spring cleaning or redecoration – anything that helps you feel more comfortable at home and allows you appreciate your private and quiet space a little more.

ARIES & ARIES RISING

Relationships and one-on-one partnerships are highlighted under this Full Moon in Libra. You have been undergoing your own adventure of self – discovering who you are, what fires you up, and how you tailor your self-expression and authenticity to the outside world. This lunation instead pulls attention to the other in your life, who is in your corner, who supports your self growth and expansion wholeheartedly, and who is excited about being a part of your life. There may be some reflection of how these important people have changed over the last six months and longer, of who has come in and out of your life, and who eventually stuck it through. If you’re still looking for a long-term partner (whether business or personal) opportunities may arise. What are you learning about yourself now that shows who you need to support this growth? Who currently in your life is doing that? Who have you let go of?

Venus will enter into Gemini, finally giving you a break on your day-to-day rituals and responsibilities. She will be sweetening up close connections in your daily life, neighborhood, and overall expanding and implementing beauty into your routine and conversations. Notice where the daily life becomes more enjoyable, and cherish the little moments of ease and beauty.

TAURUS & TAURUS RISING

Work routines, schedules, and the people you work with and under you, and physical needs including your body health, are highlighted under this Full Moon in Libra. Big expansion has been occurring lately behind the scenes, with your thoughts, hidden plans, spirituality, and what you are uncovering through inner reflection and mediation. This lunation asks you to pull some of that insider knowledge to the external world, testing you to see if you can take what you’ve learned about life and yourself, and apply it to your daily routines and structures. How can you refine and reimagine your work life with what you’re uncovering about yourself? What needs to be let go of and changed within your daily routines at work and with your body health? There’s a shift occurring overall with yourself, how you see yourself, and how you want to grow. Continue to nurture it.

Venus will enter Gemini, bringing little gifts and sweet abundance to your income, money, resources, and overall how you provide for yourself and your needs. This is great time to seek more material stability in your life. Look out for new opportunities to increase your income flow, and any connections that open up new sources of work and inspiration for you.

GEMINI & GEMINI RISING

The Full Moon in Libra wants you to return to the fun parts of life, creative projects, how you inspire yourself, and how you play – this may include things like fun partnerships or relationships to your children. There’s been a lot of exciting energy centered around your friendships, community, and how you explore and adventure with others. This lunation invites you to recharge your social batteries and spend some time creating and expressing yourself with your own personal projects. This is also a good moment to reflect on how the fun aspects of your life have changed. What is new about the ways you enjoy life – with other people or yourself? What creative projects or actions centered around children have you let go of recently? What are you looking to develop or grow now?

Venus entering into Gemini will bring you a personal feeling of healing and reconciliation. Mars has been in this sign for a long time, pushing you to change and stand up for your needs and self. Venus soothes over any rough edges, and invites you to be comfortable with who you are and how you want to express yourself. People may be more attracted to you, and it may be a good time to move your body or change up appearance if you feel called to do so.

CANCER & CANCER RISING

With so much attention in your work and career lately, the Full Moon in Libra pulls you away from the public eye and into your home, living environment, and private spaces. Perhaps providing a well-needed break, this lunation wants you to have fun as well – either with yourself and enjoying your own creative projects, or with your community, friends, and those that support you. It’s important to recognize and celebrate where you have grown, what luxuries you have sacrificed, and where you’ve been spending your time and energy, to be able to grow your vision of yourself in your career. But it’s equally important to still have a space for mind and body to retreat and heal. How has your home life changed in the last six months? What does having fun and relaxing look like to you lately?

Venus will then enter Gemini, and this will further encourage you to create a space for yourself to be alone and work through your inner needs, mental health, and spirituality. Use this Full Moon as an opportunity to find a place to support your inner mind, and it will be an asset to have a sweet area of beauty and reflection when needed.

LEO & LEO RISING

Day-to-day routines and rituals, close relationships including siblings, and the information you digest and share daily is the spotlight of attention brought by this Full Moon in Libra. Jupiter and the Sun in Aries have been pulling your time and energy into your long-term projects, goals for the future, as well as expanding your mind with higher education, philosophy, and different cultures and traveling. This lunation asks you to take some of what you are learning and implement it into your daily routines. Reflect on how your mundane life has changed in the last six months. Are you busier or have things slowed down? What have you let go of that has been helpful? What do you miss having a part of your routine? Notice what little changes you can make in your schedule that helps align your long-term goals to every day progress.

Venus entering Gemini will provide a sweet boost to your social circle, introducing you to more connections or other relationships that are fun, enjoyable, and a source of release for you. Try to make some time for fun adventures or new get togethers that connect you deeper with those you care about and allow a break from any pressures.

VIRGO & VIRGO RISING

Money, income, resources, and how you feel about creating security and stability for yourself is illuminated under this Full Moon in Libra. What does it mean for you to feel successful and stable? How have your money flows changed in the last six months, and what continues to develop here? Aries season with the Sun and Jupiter conjunction have brought gifts and flows of income from your partners, loans, and collaborations with others. While it’s nice to ride the wave of other’s success, this lunation pulls you back to focus on your own income and needs, and where the balance of these collaborations stand. Reflect on what you have let go of in terms of the material world, and what newness and exciting opportunities you are now leaning into or would like to see develop.

Venus entering Gemini will finally bring a release and some ease within your career and public roles. Mars has made this space difficult or frustrating since last August, and now there’s an opportunity for magnetizing connections and fun experiences to be had. Look out for people that help you feel more seen and appreciated with your work, and stay open to any new connections.
